Sani Consult launched in 2003 supplying bathrooms and bathroom equipment to the construction industry. At the time it was supplying bathroom POD’s mostly to Hotels. Once the potential was realised, the business started to complete finished products to a wider market. Sani Consult Ltd enjoyed rapid growth during the boom of the last 10 years. The Management is based in Germany and come over to Ireland regularly to meet clients and review progress on projects around Ireland.

OWA recommended to the board the most cost affective method of keeping their financial records, whereby they have 24 hour access to the accounts. In addition, we proposed to provide a complete online web accounting solution to maintain their complete office accounting and administration. This included payroll records, monthly/quarterly P30’s, Bi monthly vat returns and also monthly/yearly RCT returns. In addition, full annual statutory accounts and secretarial records was incorporated into our service. We also prepared all workings and reconciliations necessary to satisfy all audit requirements.

Having set them up Inrax online accounting system, we were then able to enter monthly sales and purchase invoices tracking unpaid items as well as being able to clearly identify fixed and variable expenses and provide the board with a clear picture of the business performance as compared with planPs.

PROCESS

The monthly source documents are sent by post to the head office, Where they are scanned and uploaded to the web site. The back office then access all required accounting records through Inrax, where the detailed records are updated based upon the documents uploaded to Inrax. Once the bookkeeping/accounts are updated, they are analysed by our management team and we present the client with a monthly set of management reports which can be accessed online through our website.
For Sani Consult we have set up a few specialised reports, such as total products purchased per supplier and also total amounts paid to sub-contractors. These reports are customised for our client’s needs. An example of these reports for suppliers, provides our client with the information they require to negotiate and claim higher discounts in the future. VAT and PAYE are filed and paid online by us, so our client doesn’t have to worry about any tax issues. OWA also deals with the extra burden of maintaining and returning RCT returns/payments. The client opted to receive a full monthly management accounting service, which allows the client a clearer picture of how their business is performing.
